WHO WE ARE

Meet Nia is on a mission to close the disconnected preventive health gap and help more people live healthier for longer.

01

We believe health is the foundation from which human possibility begins, yet protecting it remains unnecessarily fragmented, burdensome, and difficult to sustain alongside everyday life.

02

Nia connects the health people live every day with the care clinicians provide, empowering people to participate more meaningfully in their health while helping clinicians extend their impact beyond the encounter without extending their workday.

Because when people have greater freedom to protect their health, they have greater freedom to pursue everything that gives their lives meaning.

Founder & CEO, Meet Nia

Healthcare became personal to me long before it became my career. I was eight years old in Zimbabwe, watching my grandfather, a military veteran, navigate the healthcare system while living with blindness and a leg amputation.

Years later, that experience would become a mission. I spent more than a decade studying public health, with an emphasis on health education and global health, and building my career inside healthcare. I worked clinically alongside physicians in emergency departments, through COVID, and eventually with leading health systems and healthcare organizations. I saw extraordinary people doing extraordinary work inside a system that still asked patients to remember too much, clinicians to piece together too much with too little time, and people to somehow carry their care forward once they went home.

Then I became the patient.

My own chronic health conditions surfaced, and I found myself moving from doctor to doctor looking for answers. Trying to remember what changed. What I had tried. What mattered. How it might all connect. Too often, I left feeling unheard and with more questions than answers.

Then my 12-year-old sister was diagnosed with stage IV cancer, and I watched my family carry the weight of navigating healthcare from yet another side. At some point, the question became impossible to ignore:

“How can we have this much medicine, technology, data, and clinical expertise and still make staying ahead of our health feel this disconnected?”

So I decided to build what I wish had existed.

For my grandfather. For the patients I met in the ER. For the physicians I worked beside. For my family. For myself. And for every person who has ever left a doctor’s office feeling unheard, with every intention of following through on their care and then life happened.

That became Meet Nia.

An intelligent care co-pilot on a mission to close the disconnected preventive health gap, empowering people to participate more meaningfully in their health while helping clinicians extend their impact beyond the encounter without extending their workday.

Because when people have greater freedom to protect their health, they have greater freedom to pursue everything that gives their lives meaning.

In good health,
